NEWS FLASH 2/18/05
The A team is primed to enter into the post-season playoffs with their current fourth-place position. They have one game remaining, against the Chesapeake Lightning. In their last meeting the two teams skated to a 0-0 tie.

Leading the way offensively are Liz Hall and Nancy Smalley. Goaltender Tam Livengood has faced more shots than any goalie in her division and has maintained a save percentage over 90%.

Starting out the season without a coach and with barely enough people to field a team, the B team has pulled together a respectable season, losing four games by just one goal.

Leading the way offensively for the second straight season is Rachel Tardiff. Rachel is one of a few players in the league who has notched a hat trick, and Joyce Rebar has added a playmaker to the scoring effort. Goalie Brenda Jorgensen has kept the Wolves alive in many games this season, providing a solid backboard to the defense.

After a see-saw start, the C team has gone on a tear, winning their last three games and pushing themselves up into second place.

Leigh Garbowski leads the league in points per game, Natalie Lentz has contributed two hat tricks (including a five-point game) and Jennifer Carr has added a playmaker to the offensive effort. Tara Gardner and Nancy Delagi have shared net duties, making Coach Dick's head spin.

The C team has welcomed several first-time hockey players to the roster this season and all of the "newbies" have taken well to the ice and contributed which bodes quite well for the future. The C team is looking forward to the post season tournament and plans to take back the title that they won back in 2002. BOOYAH!
